Workman's Compensation Insurance: Self-employed, the compulsory contracting of which is enshrined in law, aims to guarantee all types of medical assistance, as well as the payment of compensation and pensions in the event of permanent incapacity or death, in the event of an accident at work that prevents you from carrying out your professional activity, temporarily or permanently.

The covers presented here are just an example; depending on the insurance company where the insurance is taken out, they vary (Basic and Optional covers).

The purpose of the Work Accident Insurance - Self-Employed (Own Account), which must be taken out by law, is to guarantee all types of medical assistance, as well as the payment of compensation and pensions in the event of permanent incapacity or death, in the event of an accident at work that temporarily or permanently prevents you from carrying out your professional activity.

A worker is considered to be self-employed or independent when their activity is carried out autonomously, i.e. without any labour ties to any entity that benefits from the results of their work. Self-employed workers whose production is intended exclusively for consumption and use by themselves and their family are exempt from taking out this insurance.

 

Insurance against accidents at work on behalf of others is a compulsory objective civil liability insurance policy designed to transfer to an insurance company the responsibility of employers for accidents occurring to workers in their service, whether they are bound by an employment contract or a legally equivalent contract, practitioners, apprentices, trainees or all those who jointly or separately provide a particular service, provided that they are economically dependent on the person served.

The established legal regime also applies to administrators, directors, managers or the like, as long as they are paid workers.

AMC assumes the coverage of risks being fully assumed by the insurance company where performed the contract.
