AMC Mediação de Seguros guarantees to safeguard the right to protection of all personal data, under the terms of Law no. 67/98, of 26 October (Personal Data Protection Law), which are voluntarily provided by the user and authorised by the user (as they are necessary and fundamental to the operation of the consultation and simulation programmes and electronic contacts), which will be treated confidentially, under the terms of the national and Community legislation in force, by AMC Mediação de Seguros, through any employee or representative authorised by it for this purpose.

The provision of any personal data is entirely voluntary, although it is sometimes necessary in order to allow the consultation and simulation programmes and electronic contacts to operate. The data subject has the right to access, amend or delete the data provided, which they may exercise by simply requesting it from AMC Mediação de Seguros.

The user's attention is drawn to the fact that, for the correct operation of some current and/or future features of these pages, if the owner does not authorise the inclusion of their personal data in AMC Mediação de Seguros' automated files and its subsequent sending and computer processing, no consultation, contact and/or simulation, by electronic means, can be carried out.

The data provided to us may be included in automated files, which will be used for the purposes expressly indicated when they were collected, and will always be treated confidentially under the terms of the legislation in force.

The data provided to us for the purpose of finalising insurance contracts will also be treated confidentially under the terms of the legislation in force, and may be transferred to other entities which, in accordance with the purpose and object of the contract, as well as for reinsurance and coinsurance reasons, intervene in the management of the policy.

The data and part of it, as well as the data generated in the event of a claim, may be transferred to public and private organisations related to the Insurance Business, for statistical-actuarial and fraud prevention purposes, as well as for the settlement of claims.
